We take your privacy seriously. This page explains, plainly, which data CraftsNames uses — and which it doesn't.
Data we store
No sign-up is required and we don't collect personal data to use the generator. Your favorite names are saved only in your own browser (localStorage), on your device — never on our servers. The surname you type for the harmony analysis is processed locally and is not sent anywhere.
Name generation
When you generate names, we send only the chosen filters (gender, origin, style) to our service. To prevent abuse, we temporarily log the request's IP address solely to rate-limit usage; it isn't tied to your identity.
Ads and cookies
We may show Google AdSense ads, which can use cookies to personalize and measure ads, per Google's policies. You can manage your ad preferences in your Google account or browser settings.
